Its main alloy element is magnesium. 5052 aluminum plate is widely used because of its high strength, fatigue resistance, high plasticity, corrosion resistance and good welding performance. In addition to magnesium, 5052 aluminum plate also contains small amounts of manganese, chromium, beryllium, titanium and other elements. Among them, manganese and chromium have similar functions. They can improve the resistance to stress corrosion cracking, enhance the strength of the base metal and welds, and reduce the tendency of welding cracks.
